Why I Switched Back into My Old iPhoneLike every one else I was very excited when the iPhone X arrived on the scene. It had so many cool options and this cutting-edge technology that I couldn't wait to try it. For approximately a month it was thrilling, however I started to find it annoying. I was always terrified that I would drop it and the display would stink despite the protective event. It had glitches galore. I found myself thinking longingly of my older iPhone 6S that has been sitting in the drawer. After about two weeks of using the iPhone X, I broke out my previous 6S and put my simcard back in that phone. Fortunately I already knew just how to back up my phone and did not have any difficulties. Now the iPhone Xis still sitting in a drawer.
This is why I moved back to my older iPhone:
Not Having a Property Button Was Terrible
Whenever the iPhone X arrived one of many features that individuals were mad about was that the X doesn't always have a home button. At first, I liked that too, but I then realized it had been annoying and time-consuming to attempt to close apps, switch screens, or really do such a thing with no home button. Attempting to backup my phone was also difficult when your house button wasn't there. I found myself constantly pressing on the base of the phone at which your home button should have been. Maybe I'm simply not prepared to embrace the cutting edge, '' I actually don't know. But I really missed the home button.
Facial Recognition Can Be Just a Nightmare
Facial recognition instead of Touch ID is just another of the features that people were very worked up about when the iPhone X debuted. After a few days of using my head to unlock the phone and perform a number of different tasks, I had been over it. I miss Touch ID or simply using my pass code to unlock the cell telephone. When I tried to pay for items in the store with facial recognition, '' I had been constantly holding up the line and appearing as a whole hipster. Maybe not something I enjoyed.
It's Just Too Much
I really could discuss one other features which the iPhone X has that just didn't work for me however ultimately the X is still simply too much phone to get me. Even half of those things it could perform will be overly much. Honestly, I reallyjust wanted to streamline my phone use. I would like a phone to call people, text, and also check my email and also societal networking. I actually don't need a super powerful computer system replacement or an excellent advanced camera which could take incredible videos or even photos. Provided that my phone might take halfway adequate selfies, that is all that I want.
The iPhone X is simply a lot for what I desire.
So I moved straight back into my own iPhone 6s, and I am totally pleased with the update. I am convinced the iPhone X is precisely right for somebody younger, more creative, or even maybe more stylish than myself, also I am convinced it is really a great phone for somebody who would like to accomplish more with their cell phone. But the iPhone 6s does everything I need, including making the opportunity to backup my phone a cinch, and it is comfortable and comfortable.
But on a side note, does anyone want my new iPhone X? It's only collecting dust. Contact me for pricing. I'm kidding....... .but badly, anybody curious?
